Question
To ask the Scottish Executive what information it has on what maintenance takes place, and who pays for the maintenance, of the two Government Pipeline and Storage System oil pipeline networks in Scotland.

GovernmentPipelines and Storage System (GPSS) is reserved to the UK Government and run bythe Oil and Pipeline Agency. The function of this agency is to manage the GPSSon behalf of the Ministry of Defence (MoD).
Information onthe pipelines and storage system can be obtained from the Defence Fuels Groupat the MoD.
