Subordinate Legislation

Meeting date: 27 November 2024

Douglas Ross

Sorry, minister. We have it on the record that it was agreed that it would be implemented incrementally. However, were there issues with the software and information technology over the period?

Subordinate Legislation

Meeting date: 27 November 2024

Meeting date: 27 November 2024

Schools (Residential Outdoor Education) (Scotland) Bill

Meeting date: 27 November 2024

Douglas Ross

As I said, I asked you that question because you mentioned the commitment in your evidence, so I thought that it was useful.

Finally, are you and the Scottish Government genuinely neutral on this bill? That is a genuine question.

Schools (Residential Outdoor Education) (Scotland) Bill

Meeting date: 27 November 2024

Douglas Ross

Thank you.

In the Scottish Government’s memorandum to the bill, in paragraph 7, you say:

“Pupils should experience outdoor learning in a variety of place contexts, for example: playgrounds”.

How is your Government working towards your manifesto commitment to renew all playgrounds in Scotland?
