The Committee considered the following negative instruments—
Agriculture (Retained EU Law and Data) (Scotland) Act 2020 (Consequential Modifications) and Agricultural Products, Aquatic Animal Health and Genetically Modified Organisms (EU Exit) (Amendment) Regulations 2022
Conservation of Salmon (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2022

The Committee agreed to make no recommendations in relation to the instruments.


6 Genetic Technology (Precision Breeding) Bill (UK Parliament legislation) (In Private):

The Committee considered the evidence it heard earlier under agenda item 4.


7 Work programme (In Private):

The Committee considered its work programme. The Committee agreed to take evidence from the Cabinet Secretary in relation to salmon farming in Scotland.  The Committee also agreed to consider a further work programme paper at a future meeting.
