1 Decision on taking business in private:
The Committee agreed to take item 3 in private.
2 UK subordinate legislation:
The Committee considered a proposal by the Scottish Government to consent to the UK Government legislating using the powers under the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 in relation to the following UK statutory instrument—
Sea Fisheries (Amendment etc.) Regulations 2022.
The Committee agreed that the provisions set out in the notification should be included in the UK SI.
3 Hunting with Dogs (Scotland) Bill (in private):
The Committee agreed the call for written evidence and Stage 1 oral evidence timetable; and to consider oral evidence heard and draft reports in private.
4 Declaration of interests:
Brian Whittle was invited to declare any relevant interests prior to agenda item 1. He indicated that he had no interests to declare.
