Dear Mr Mackenzie,
Section 22 Report: The 2020/21 audit of the Crofting Commission
Thank you for your written submission of 10 December 2021, in which you request the opportunity to provide oral evidence to the Public Audit Committee on the above report by the Auditor General for Scotland.
The Committee considered your request at its meeting yesterday and agreed to invite you to provide evidence in written form developing as much as possible, with an evidence base, the themes set out in your letter of 10 December. You should explain why you believe this information would be of assistance to the Committee in its scrutiny of the report.
Similar to your initial submission, any further written evidence received will be published on the Committee’s webpage and will form part of the public record of its scrutiny of the Section 22 report. As such, I would draw your attention to the Parliament’s guidance on submitting your views to a Committee.
