2. Non-surgical Procedures and Functions of Medical Reviewers (Scotland) Bill:

The Committee took evidence on the Bill at Stage 1 from—

Jacqueline Cooney, Director, Scottish Medical Aesthetics Safety Group;

Stefan Czerniawski, Executive Director of Strategy, General Dental Council;

Amanda Demosthenous, Non-Executive Director, Board Member, British Association of Medical Aesthetic Nurses;

The Committee agreed to make no recommendations in relation to the instrument.

6. Non-surgical Procedures and Functions of Medical Reviewers (Scotland) Bill (In Private):

The Committee considered the evidence it heard earlier under agenda item 2 and at last week's meeting.

7. Subordinate legislation (In Private):

The Committee considered a draft report on the Food Safety Act 1990 Amendment (Scotland) Regulations 2026 and agreed to consider a revised draft, updated to reflect items 3 and 4, by correspondence.
