1 Abortion Services (Safe Access Zones) (Scotland) Bill:
The Committee took evidence on the Bill at Stage 1 from—
Jenni Minto, Minister for Public Health and Women's Health, and Johanna Irvine, Solicitor, Scottish Government;
and then from—
Gillian Mackay, Member in charge of the Bill, Scottish Parliament.
Sandesh Gulhane declared an interest as a practising NHS GP.
2 Subordinate legislation:
The Committee considered the following negative instrument—
National Health Service (Common Staffing Method) (Scotland) Regulations 2024
The Committee agreed to make no recommendation in relation to the instrument.
3 Abortion Services (Safe Access Zones) (Scotland) Bill (in private):
The Committee considered the evidence it heard earlier under agenda item 1.
The Committee agreed to write to the Minister for Public Health and Women's Health and to Police Scotland.
