1 Children (Care and Justice) (Scotland) Bill:
The Committee heard evidence on the Bill at Stage 1 from—
Natalie Don, Minister for Children, Young People and Keeping the Promise, Brendan Rooney, Bill Manager and Deborah Nolan, Bill Team Professional Adviser.
2 Evidence Session (In Private):
The Committee considered the evidence it had heard on the Children (Care and Justice) (Scotland) Bill.
3 Work programme (In Private):
The Committee considered and agreed its Work Programme.
The Committee agreed to invite the Minister for Higher Education and Further Education; and Minister for Veterans to give evidence to the Committee on university and college funding. The Committee also agreed to write to the Cabinet Secretary for Education and Skills in relation to its 2023/24 budget scrutiny.
