The Committee decided to take item 3 in private at this and future meetings.

2. The economic potential of artificial intelligence:

The Committee took evidence from—

Seth Finegan, CEO, Informed Solutions;

Peter Proud, Chief Executive/Founder, Forrit;

Sarah Ronald, Founder, Nile.

3. Evidence Session (In Private):

The Committee reviewed the evidence it heard earlier under agenda item 2.

4. Pre-Budget Scrutiny 2026-27 (In Private):

The Committee agreed its pre-budget letter to the Scottish Government. The Committee also agreed to write to HM Treasury regarding rules relating to the Scottish National Investment Bank’s functions.
