1. Decision on taking business in private:

The Committee agreed to take item 5 in private.

2. Subordinate legislation:

The Committee considered the following negative instrument—

Firefighters’ Pension Scheme (Scotland) Amendment Order 2025 (SSI 2025/406)

The Committee agreed to make no recommendations in relation to the instrument.

3. UK subordinate legislation:

The Committee considered a proposal by the Scottish Government to consent to the UK Government legislating in a devolved area as set out in the following UK statutory instrument proposal—

North Atlantic Salmon Conservation and North-East Atlantic Fisheries Commission Privileges and Immunities Revocation Regulations 2026

The Committee was content for the instrument to come into force.

4. Prevention of Domestic Abuse (Scotland) Bill (In Private):

The Committee considered a draft Summary of Evidence on the Bill. Various changes were agreed to and the Committee agreed to consider a further revised draft, in private, at its next meeting.

5. Draft Climate Change Plan (In Private):

The Committee considered and agreed a draft letter to the Net Zero, Energy and Transport Committee.

6. Work programme (In Private):

The Committee considered and agreed its work programme.
