2 Pre-Budget Scrutiny:
The Committee took evidence as part of its Pre-Budget Scrutiny from—
Keith Brown, Cabinet Secretary for Justice and Veterans, Donald McGillivray, Director of Safer Communities and Neil Rennick, Director of Justice, Scottish Government .
Fulton MacGregor indicated that he was previously a criminal justice social worker.
3 Control of Dogs (Scotland) Act 2010:
The Committee noted the correspondence received from the Minister for Community Safety and that subordinate legislation to establish a control of dogs database will be considered by the Local Government, Housing and Planning Committee. The Committee agreed to keep the timetable for the review of the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991 under review.
