During 2025 the Committee is undertaking scrutiny of the challenges facing businesses and vulnerable individuals in Scotland from the risks of cybercrime.
The focus is to help inform parliamentary debate and raise awareness of the impact of cybercrime. For example, the impact on particular individuals such as the elderly, as well as the impact on those in employment and the wider business community across Scotland. The focus does not cover elements of child exploitation, as that is an area that has already received substantial debate in the public and parliamentary realm.
