The Committee completed Stage 2 consideration of the Bill.
Murdo Fraser MSP declared an interest in two heritable properties, as a member of the Law Society of Scotland and as a member of the Church of Scotland; Oliver Mundell MSP indicated he had no relevant interests; Stephen Kerr MSP indicated he had no relevant interests; Edward Mountain declared his farming business includes rental properties and that he is a qualified rural surveyor with over 20 years professional experience, this included letting of properties for clients on holiday, short and long term lets; Mercedes Villalba declared that she is a member of ACORN tenants' union and the Living Rent tenants' union; Mark Griffin declared an interest as the owner of a rented property in North Lanarkshire.
The Committee suspended at 11:18am and resumed at 5:30pm.
