1. Consideration of a continued petition:

The Committee considered the following continued petition— 

• PE1992: Dual the A9 and improve road safety. The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders. In closing the petition, the Committee agreed to write a letter for the incoming Presiding Officer. 
  

2. Consideration of new petitions:

The Committee considered the following new petitions—

• PE2191: Review legislation in order to strengthen the Scottish Outdoor Access Code. The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders.

• PE2192: Prevent domestic abusers from using bankruptcy to escape debt. The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders.

• PE2193: Address Dangerous Delays in Paediatric Cancer Diagnostics. The Committee agreed to write to the Scottish Government and the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health. 

• PE2194: Amend the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act to prevent abuse of power of attorney. The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders. 

• PE2197: Allow more survivors of care abuse to access redress. The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders.

• PE2198: Establish a standardised and fair public participation process for all Scottish councils. The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders.

• PE2199: Facilitate access to emergency telephone services for remote communities. The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders.

• PE2200: Provide a sustainable funding model for Scotland’s colleges. The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders.

• PE2201: Introduce a legal requirement to notify parents and carers by the end of the school day when an incident involving their child occurs. The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders.

• PE2202: Stop the Guga Hunt. The Committee agreed to consider the petition as part of an upcoming work programme item about the Committee’s ongoing work.

• PE2203: Make schools in Scotland safe for pupils with allergies. The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders.

• PE2204: Create a national database to record patient outcomes for endometriosis treatments. The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders.

• PE2205: Extend access to justice by reforming court rules in equality and human rights claims. The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders.

• PE2206: Review the weighting for single-track roads in the road maintenance funding formula. The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders. In closing the petition, the Committee agreed to write to the Cabinet Secretary for Finance and Local Government.

• PE2207: I demand the Scottish Parliament create a pilot court to try Russian war criminals with Ukraine. The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders. 

• PE2208: Implement mandatory collection and publication of child sexual offender data. The Committee agreed to consider the petition as part of an upcoming work programme item about the Committee’s ongoing work.

• PE2209: Make CCTV mandatory in all taxis and private hire vehicles. The Committee agreed to close the petition under Rule 15.7 of Standing Orders.
