PE1517/XXXX - Polypropylene Mesh Medical Devices

I am desperately worried and adamant that the Scottish Government should suspend all surgical mesh and fixation devices.

I know that NO Scottish doctor has been trained by the experienced American Dr Veronikis in removing the mesh and Dr Veronikis has offered to come and train but has many obstacles put in his way from our consultants, some of whom I know have lied about performing a full mesh removal in which they have left the anchors. Many patients have requested photos after the operation to find out that they did not perform a full mesh removal.

I have zero confidence in the consultants’ competency in taking out my mesh. I only want Dr Veronikis to perform this or one of our doctors who has been trained by and Dr Dionysios Veronikis. I know that the Scottish Government have banned vaginal mesh procedures BUT are still inserting the mesh through the abdomen. Why are they still inserting a device which was not devised to be inserted into a human body? They are just not listening.

I feel I have a ticking time bomb inside with endless sleepless nights and require the mesh taken out asap. As explained it was NEVER made to be inside ANY human body.
