The Family Law (Scotland) Bill was introduced on 7 February 2005 [Session 2]
This was a Government Bill. Government Bills before September 2012 were known as Executive Bills.
The Bill was passed on 15 December 2005 and became an Act on 20 January 2006
If the Bill is passed by MSPs, it can then get Royal Assent and become an Act.
