That the Parliament notes what it sees as the essential contribution of the public to the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home pet food donations; understands that, to date in 2021, the Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home has supported 7,000 pets through its foodbank “Paws Pantry”; notes that, like other animal charities, Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home will provide support throughout Christmas for abandoned or stray dogs and cats, ensuring that they are not left out in the cold, and congratulates Edinburgh Dog and Cat Home for all its work year on year.
