Welcome to the 10th meeting in 2026 of the Local Government, Housing and Planning Committee. We have received apologies from Meghan Gallacher, and we are joined by her substitute, Stephen Kerr. Mark Griffin and Tim Eagle join us online. Stephen and Tim have lodged amendments to the bill, which they will speak to. I welcome them both to the meeting. I remind all members to ensure that their devices are on silent and that all notifications are turned off during the meeting.
Under our first agenda item, I invite Stephen Kerr to declare any relevant interests, as this is the first time that he has attended a meeting of the committee in his capacity as a substitute member.
