Interests

Good morning and welcome to the 14th meeting of the Health and Sport Committee in the fourth session of the Scottish Parliament. As usual at this point, I remind people to turn off all mobile phones and BlackBerrys.

First of all, I welcome our new committee member, Jackson Carlaw, and in accordance with section 3 of the code of conduct I invite him to declare any interests that might be relevant to the committee’s remit. Any declaration should be brief but sufficiently detailed to make clear to anyone listening the nature of the interest.

I draw members’ attention to my entry in the register of members’ interests. I have nothing further to add to that.
