Letter from BECTU

Agenda item 3 is a letter from BECTU—the Broadcasting Entertainment Cinematograph and Theatre Union—on restructuring at the Scottish Media Group. Karen Gillon, the committee convener, has responded to BECTU asking for more details on the impact of SMG's decisions. We hope to receive a reply some time next week and I feel that it would be best to await that reply before making any further decisions. Do members agree?
