Guided tours
The Scottish Parliament offers guided tours free of charge allowing visitors to explore the architecture, art and history of the award-winning Scottish Parliament building.
Guided tours of the building are very popular and advanced booking is essential. Tours are available at these times:
Mondays and Fridays (including public holidays) –
- 10.30am
- 2pm
- 3.30pm
There are no tours on weekends.
Booking a tour
The Scottish Parliament Tour is 45-minutes long and suitable for visitors of all ages.
Individuals can request up to nine tickets for a guided tour.

Group tours
We can accommodate groups of up to 20 on a guided tour. For groups larger than 20 we can offer introductory talks with a member of the Visitor Services team.
The tours operate on Monday and Friday.
