  • Submitted by: Stuart McMillan, Greenock and Inverclyde, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Friday, 14 January 2022
  • Motion reference: S6M-02796

That the Parliament wishes Janice Burns and Linda Clarke a happy and relaxing retirement after clocking up almost 40 years between them as classroom assistants in Inverclyde; notes that Janice, 61, and Linda, 63, have worked in education for 21 and 19 years, respectively; recognises the positive impact that Janice and Linda have had on pupils at St Gabriel’s Primary School, which amalgamated with Sacred Heart Primary School 10 years ago to become St Andrew’s Primary School; believes that Janice and Linda will be missed by pupils and colleagues alike, and wishes them both all the best as they look forward to retirement.
