That the Parliament applauds Scotland national team and Arsenal FC footballer, Jen Beattie, on being awarded the Helen Rollason Award at the 2021 BBC Sports Personality of the Year Awards; understands that Jen was diagnosed with breast cancer in October 2020, continued to play for club and country, and that she is now cancer-free; commends what it sees as her bravery and openness in speaking of her experience, and her dedication to encouraging others to get screened; understands that the award recognises outstanding achievement in the face of adversity; congratulates Jen Beattie on this incredible accomplishment, and wishes her every success in the future.
