Dean Collins and Anna Porteous Elected MSYPs

That the Parliament congratulates both Dean Collins and Anna Porteous, who were elected to represent Coatbridge and Chryston in the Scottish Youth Parliament; understands that Dean sees equalities, justice, and democracy as his key interest areas; notes that Anna’s main areas of interest are equalities, the environment, and health and wellbeing; acknowledges that the newly-elected members are unaffiliated to any political parties, and will work hard to improve the lives of their constituents through campaigns and events, and wishes both Dean and Anna the best of luck over the next two years in their role as Members of the Scottish Youth Parliament.
