Celebrating 50 Years of East Renfrewshire Citizens Advice Bureau

That the Parliament congratulates everyone at East Renfrewshire Citizens Advice Bureau on the charity's 50th anniversary; recognises the economic and social value of the bureau to the local community; notes that it provides advice on a great number of issues, including debt, employment, health, housing, money advice, mediation and welfare; understands that, over the last year alone, the bureau has dealt with over 10,000 clients and delivered £3.2 million in recorded client financial gains; considers that its delivery of free, confidential, impartial and independent advice is more vital than ever; expresses its gratitude to all of the staff and trained volunteers who have been active at the bureau over the last 50 years, and wishes it the very best in continuing its essential work for many years to come.
