Robyn Love Picked for Team GB

That the Parliament commends the Ayr athlete, Robyn Love, on her selection for the ParalympicsGB wheelchair basketball team in the upcoming Paralympic Games in Tokyo this summer; understands that the games will be held between 24 August and 5 September 2021, having been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic; recognises the high level of achievement by the GB wheelchair basketball team, with the men's and women's teams ranked first and second in world respectively; notes that this is not Robyn's first visit to the games, having competed at the 2016 games less than three years after first taking up the sport; celebrates her previous achievements, including a silver medal in the Osaka championships in spring 2015, a European bronze in autumn 2015, a second European bronze in 2017 and the historic silver medal won by the GB squad in the 2019 European Championships, as well as a silver at the 2018 World Championships and helping the GB team secure its best ever performance to date in the Paralympics with fourth place at the 2016 games in Rio de Janeiro, and wishes Robyn and all the GB Paralympic team the very best at this year's games.
