That the Parliament recognises the scale of the humanitarian crisis ongoing in India as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic; acknowledges reports that over 250,000 people have died as a result of the virus; further acknowledges reports that the country's health service is completely overwhelmed and that thousands of people are being left untreated due to a lack of oxygen and ventilators; is deeply saddened by reports of crematoriums being overrun; offers condolences to all those in India who have lost loved ones; further acknowledges that this crisis will be particularly concerning for Scotland's citizens of Indian descent, and calls on the Scottish Government to assist the Indian Government with such resources it can make available.
