Recycle Room Clydebank

  • Submitted by: Gil Paterson, Clydebank and Milngavie, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Wednesday, 24 March 2021
  • Motion reference: S5M-24468

That the Parliament recognises the invaluable work carried out by the Recycle Room in Clydebank, a charity which is of enormous benefit to both the environment and community across the area; understands that it takes in donations of unwanted household items and reallocates those items; notes that it has a range of new projects lined up, such as book bags, kindness jars and DIY basics, which it is working on alongside the community links project, Clydebank Can, to provide the community an opportunity to learn new skills and to tackle loneliness while promoting recycling; commends the efforts of the initiative for the work that it does to help the community, and wishes it every success at its new venue.
