Moray Young Musicians' Charitable Performance

  • Submitted by: Jamie Halcro Johnston, Highlands and Islands, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.

  • Motion reference: S5M-23811

That the Parliament congratulates Oliver Clark, a young musician from Dyke in Moray, on organising a virtual orchestral performance of the classic Christmas carol, Silent Night, to raise funds for the Cash for Kids charity; recognises that the coronavirus pandemic has caused particular challenges for music students who have lost the opportunity to rehearse together and perform in public, and commends the efforts of Oliver and other musicians who have adapted to the current situation and utilised online channels to reach a wider audience for a good cause.
