Inverness Foodstuff Serves 10,000 Meals to People in Need During Lockdown

That the Parliament recognises the work of the Inverness Foodstuff church and community project, which operates from Ness Bank Church and whose more than 80 volunteers are addressing the problems of homelessness, food poverty, social isolation and food waste; congratulates those involved, who take pride in producing freshly-cooked vegetarian meals for vulnerable people, relying on donations of fruit and vegetables from supermarkets, grocers and individuals in order to do so, and for providing a staggering 10,000 nutritious meals to people in need during the COVID-19 lockdown, and welcomes that this project now recruits two paid members of staff.
