That the Parliament applauds the launch of Farm Talk, a service set up to provide peer-to-peer mental health support to the farming community; understands that the project, which is a collaboration between the National Farmers Union (NFU) Scotland, NFU Mutual, and Peterhead-based mental health charity Men United, provides an innovative and lifesaving service to anyone who needs it; recognises what it sees as the impact of loneliness and isolation in farming communities and the challenges of rurality in accessing mental health support services, and thanks NFU Scotland and Men United for playing a leading role in providing support and breaking down what it sees as long-held stigma around the subject of mental health.
