West Dunbartonshire Citizens Advice Bureau

That the Parliament congratulates West Dunbartonshire Citizens Advice Bureau on, it understands, supporting 5,368 clients throughout 2022, helping them with almost 35,000 separate issues; considers that the ongoing cost of living crisis has had an impact on the demand for the charity’s services; understands that the bureau helped clients secure £1.1 million in client financial gains, plus another £370,000 in debt write-offs throughout the year; acknowledges that 2022 was a year of change for West Dunbartonshire Citizens Advice Bureau as it went from traditional town centre offices to taking services out into the community at a number of outreach centres in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, and thanks the staff and volunteers for participating in a series of cost of living advice events during November and December 2022, alongside other advice agencies, to provide help, assistance and support to those most in need in the West Dunbartonshire community.
