That the Parliament thanks the Asda Foundation’s U18 Better Starts Fund for awarding Haldane United 2010/11s £500; congratulates the club for their ongoing work in the community, training young football players; understands that the Asda Foundation is a charitable company that provides grants to a range of good causes in Scotland, with each project nominated by local people and communities; believes that the U18 Better Starts grant is focused on supporting local groups to deliver initiatives that improve the lives of children and young people, particularly those providing support during the school holidays; considers that, in 2022, the Asda Foundation invested more than £800,000 in community projects, and notes that nominations for groups which could benefit from the funding can be made in an Asda store by speaking to the store manager or community champion.
