That the Parliament congratulates Restaurant Andrew Fairlie, based at Gleneagles in Perthshire, for being awarded the number one ranking in the 32nd edition of Harden’s Top 100 Best UK Restaurants; understands that the awards are diner-led and based on a total of 30,000 reports from a survey of 3,000 diners, who hailed the eatery as "a memory to be treasured", praised it for "its luxurious ingredients prepared with impeccable skill and creativity" and "attentive staff who are knowledgeable in all respects"; commends head chef, Stevie McLaughlin, and Restaurant Manager, Dale Dewsbury, for their leadership of the eatery since Andrew Fairlie’s death in 2019, and notes the verdict of co-founder of Harden’s, Peter Harden, that "Andrew Fairlie may sadly no longer be with us but his spirit lives on in this restaurant which bears his name"; acknowledges that this is the latest honour for the world-renowned restaurant that is Scotland’s only two Michelin star restaurant, and that it was the first Scottish establishment to be included in Les Grandes Tables du Monde in 2017, and wishes Restaurant Andrew Fairlie continued success in the future.
