  • Motion reference: S6M-07503

That the Parliament welcomes the launch of the Scottish Borders Warm and Well Fund by Scottish Borders Council in what it sees as this unprecedented cost of living crisis; notes the launch of the fund, which aims to support voluntary, community and charity organisations with funding to provide a warm space for local residents, families and friends who are struggling to heat their homes in winter; urges community and charity organisations in the Scottish Borders to apply for this grant to help their rural communities; appreciates what it sees as the lengths to which the Scottish Borders Council is going in providing what it believes are much needed funds to help alleviate problems encountered this winter by rural communities in the Scottish Borders, and thanks the local communities who are helping the most vulnerable in society.
