PSYV Stranraer Delivers Christmas Help for Older Residents

That the Parliament congratulates the Police Scotland Young Volunteers (PSYV) Stranraer on its recent Shoebox Appeal project leading up to Christmas; notes that the appeal put together a box of biscuits, hats, gloves, tinned food, pasta, chocolates, cakes and hygiene items, which were given to vulnerable older residents in the Stranraer area; further notes that the PSYV delivered over 100 boxes to homes and facilities such as the Coronation Day Centre, Belmont Nursing Home and Women’s Aid; thanks all of those involved in this project for their work to support older vulnerable residents in Stranraer, and commends the young volunteers for their efforts
