Glasgow's Albert Park Receives Community Ownership Funding

  • Submitted by: Dr. Sandesh Gulhane, Glasgow, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.
  • Date lodged: Tuesday, 13 December 2022
  • Motion reference: S6M-07212

That the Parliament welcomes news that the historic Albert Park in Glasgow’s southside will benefit from £100,000 of UK Government Community Ownership Fund finance to restore the clubhouse and pavilion so that the community can continue to enjoy these facilities; understands that this is the second round of allocations, with several "at risk" venues in Scotland being given funding totalling £2 million to restore the sites for future generations, and wishes the successful projects well in their valuable restoration work.
