Community Fund Award for Knightswood's Weekday Wow Factor

That the Parliament welcomes the provision of £1,614 of funding for Weekday Wow Factor from the National Lottery Community Fund; notes that this group, which is based in Knightswood, Glasgow, will use the funding for producing a business plan with expert support to build the sustainability of the project, which currently aims to strengthen local communities, reduce isolation, and enhance the physical, social and mental health of people over the age of 50 through leisure activities, and notes that these activities include a daytime disco, which can be joined virtually, and a keep-fit club that helps reduce the risks of falls through Pilates and exercise to music.
