  • Submitted by: Jackson Carlaw, Eastwood, Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party.
  • Date lodged: Friday, 09 December 2022
  • Motion reference: S6M-07150

That the Parliament congratulates the In Harmony Community Choir, based in Eastwood, for its charity fundraising efforts; notes that the choir's activities take place at the Giffnock South Parish Church and alongside singing and socialising, the aim of the group is to raise funds for charities; acknowledges that the proceeds from ticket sales for the choir's Christmas concerts, arranged for early December, will be donated to MacMillan Cancer Support and MND Scotland, and commends the hard work of the choir's membership to not only host enjoyable community events during the festive season but to also raise money to support outstanding charities.
