Hamilton Accies Women and Girls' FC Appoints Michael Sinclair as First CEO

That the Parliament congratulates Michael Sinclair on his historic appointment as the first-ever Chief Executive of Hamilton Accies Women and Girls Football Club; notes that Michael will also sit on the Hamilton Accies board of directors, providing the women and girls team their first representation on the club’s board, demonstrating what it sees as Hamilton Accies commitment to Scotland’s rapidly expanding women and girls’ game; understands that through collaborative working with Hamilton Accies FC and Hamilton Accies Community Trust, Michael intends to restructure operations to ensure inclusive participation for women and girls of all footballing abilities, as well as offer, for those who want it, a pathway from Accies’ community teams to Accies prestigious national academy and professional first teams, and wishes Michael the very best in developing the women and girls club, as he seeks to match the success of the men’s team.
