That the Parliament notes the annual report of the Children and Young People’s Commissioner Scotland; thanks the Commissioner and the stakeholders, including those in the Central Scotland Region, who contributed to the work over the course of the last year; notes the findings regarding safeguarding of children and young people, and considers that the role of the commissioner, in ensuring that children are protected from harm and violations of their rights, is of paramount importance to them and to the Parliament.
