  • Motion reference: S6M-06535

That the Parliament congratulates Shopmobility Paisley and District on its successful funding application from the National Lottery Community Fund – Improving Lives Grant, which has resulted in the charity’s largest ever single investment with £54,000 over three years; understands that this will be used to tackle social isolation due to mobility problems all across Renfrewshire; notes that this includes working with partners such as Inchinnan Development Trust to ensure mobility equipment is based in local communities for easier access, and further notes that this funding is made possible by National Lottery players.
