That the Parliament commends Lochlan Murdoch on being selected as a finalist and winning at the Quality in Care Diabetes Awards on 13 October 2022; understands that Lochlan, with the help from his mum Lesley, established his charity, Lochlan’s Legacy, in October 2020 after wanting to help make a difference to people living with type 1 diabetes, like himself, after being diagnosed in 2013, aged just four; notes that he had been selected in the People’s Award section, which is a special award, supported by Diabetes UK and recognises someone very special who has supported/cared for people with diabetes; understands that this is a massive achievement for Lochlan and all of Lochan’s Legacy, and wishes them well for the future.
