Baby Loss Awareness Week 2022

That the Parliament recognises Baby Loss Awareness Week, which takes place in the week of 9 October to 15 October 2022; understands that the loss of a baby is a deeply tragic event at any stage; notes that the theme of this year is Stepping Stones, which focuses on the uniqueness of different paths taken by families after these tragedies; acknowledges Baby Loss Retreat, and its founder, Julie Morrison, who is from Coatbridge, and the dedicated work that the charity does focussing tirelessly on supporting parents and families who have been affected by miscarriage, stillbirth and neonatal death; raises awareness of a church service hosted by Baby Loss Retreat on 15 October at St Augustine’s in Coatbridge, and wishes Baby Loss Retreat every success as it continues its important work helping families at their most vulnerable.
