Fundraiser in Memory of Alan Jackson

  • Submitted by: Clare Adamson, Motherwell and Wishaw, Scottish National Party.
  • Date lodged: Monday, 26 September 2022
  • Motion reference: S6M-05995

That the Parliament recognises Paula Brown, sister of Alan Jackson, for her tireless fundraising efforts for Chris's House, a Wishaw-based suicide prevention charity, in memory of her late brother; understands that Paula marked what would have been a milestone birthday for her late brother with a 30th birthday party, which raised money for Chris's House, in a mission to celebrate Alan’s life; notes that Paula exceeded her initial target, raising £2,300 for the charity; commends Paula on her activism, and wishes her, and Chris's House, all the best for the future.
