St Mary’s Primary School in Clydebank Awarded Sixth Eco-Schools Green Flag Award

That the Parliament congratulates St Mary’s Primary School in Clydebank for being awarded their sixth prestigious Eco-Schools Green Flag Award; notes that the school was praised for achieving the aims of their Eco Action Plan, which included three core topics of litter, global citizenship, and water; understands that the school, led by the pupil-run Global Group were proactive in reducing litter, increasing recycling, minimising food waste, and encouraging a cleaner environment, and also worked to improve the lives of those less fortunate by collecting for West Dunbartonshire Community Foodshare and the emergency appeal for Ukraine; recognises the hard work of the staff and the pupils to promote cleaner and greener living, and applauds them for this fantastic achievement.
