Sandhead Husband and Wife Team Win Gold in National Bowling Final

That the Parliament congratulates husband and wife team, David and Lesley McColm, winners of the Scottish Mixed Pairs Championship, recently held at the Bowls Scotland National Finals at Northfield, Ayr; notes that the couple who were representing Sandhead Bowling Club, Sandhead, Wigtownshire, qualified through the respective district finals to earn the right to compete against the top 32 pairs in Scotland in the national event to reach the final where, in 2013, the Sandhead couple came second; recognises that, on this occasion, David and Lesley were in sparkling form to win the title and the gold medals, and wishes the couple continued success alongside other members from Sandhead Bowling Club, putting the local sports club firmly on the map.
