Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations Employee of the Year 2022

That the Parliament congratulates Claire Wadsworth, of Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs, on winning Employee of the Year at the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) 2022 Scottish Charity Awards; understands that the Employee of the Year award commemorates exceptional and influential employees who have worked tirelessly to make a significant difference to one or more organisations or causes; recognises that Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs is a national charity that supports anyone concerned about someone else’s alcohol or drug use; believes that the contributions by Claire and Scottish Families Affected by Alcohol and Drugs have been invaluable to individuals and families across the country; welcomes the ongoing success of SCVO’s annual Charity Awards, and notes what it sees as the important role the event plays in highlighting the incredible efforts of organisations and individuals across Scotland’s voluntary sector.
