Corey Rizza and Team Scotland Make History at GB Junior and Youth Three Nations Championships

That the Parliament congratulates Rothes youth boxer, Corey Rizza, and his team, on a spectacular win at the GB Junior and Youth Three Nations Championships in Barnsley, which were held on 11-12 June 2022; understands that Corey took home a Gold medal in the Youth category; notes that, with 10 gold medals overall, this was Scotland’s best result at the competition since the Junior and Youth events were merged, with the previous record being seven Gold medals; applauds the efforts of Corey’s club, Elgin Boxing Club, in training and supporting local young people; recognises the value of youth sports and the hard work and effort of all young people who participate in these competitions, and wishes Corey and his team all the best for the future.
