Alexandria-born Tennis Star Gordon Reid Wins 10th Consecutive Grand Slam Doubles Title

That the Parliament congratulates Gordon Reid, who began playing tennis at Helensburgh Tennis Club and trained in the sport while studying at Hermitage Academy, on his 10th Grand Slam title in a row alongside partner, Alfie Hewett; notes that the duo reached the milestone with a victory in the wheelchair doubles final over Shingo Kunieda and Gustavo Fernandez at the French Open at Roland Garros on 5 June 2022; further notes that 30-year-old Reid has also won singles titles at Wimbledon and the Australian Open and has been successful in raising the profile of wheelchair tennis in the UK, and wishes him every success for the future.
